Alex is very sensitive, he is emotionally aware.
If someone coughs a little differently, he’ll ask “Are you ok?” and give then a pat on the back.
If anyone emits a groan or a sigh, he’s onto it with “What’s wrong?”.
But I suppose the flip side of this sensitivity to others are his own heightened emotions.
Alex doesn’t get disappointed, he becomes devastated. He doesn’t get angry, he gets furious. He doesn’t stamp his foot or pout his lip. He throws himself on the floor and has a tantrum worthy of the feistiest two-yr-old!
This can be difficult to deal with, but it’s kind of worth it when he comes to my recuse if I accidentally stub my toe!
